The international evangelistic ministry called Reachout Ministries began when God called Dr. Larry Brice and his wife Karen to rededicate their lives to Jesus Christ in a Billy Graham Crusade and School of Evangelism in Columbia, South Carolina in 1987. At that time the Lord instructed Larry: "Now that you have answered My call to commitment, I want you to do for others what you and Karen have done for Me tonight." The call was immediate, clear and compelling, but Larry and Karen were not able to settle everything and launch their ministry full-time until 1992 when they founded together, under federal incorporation, Reachout Ministries.

A great opportunity came in 1994 when David Mainse invited Larry to hold a week-long evangelistic crusade on live national television. David's letter of reference refers to the large response of callers who phoned in when invited to come to Christ!
